Southwest Florida International in Fort Myers is about 45 minutes north of Old Naples on Interstate 75, longer in season traffic. Its 12,000 ft runway and separate general aviation ramp make it the airport for heavy jets, large groups, and the peak weeks when Naples has no parking left. For Bonita Springs, Estero and Sanibel it is often the closer airport anyway.
BED · Hanscom Field
Hanscom Field is in Bedford, about 20 miles northwest of Boston. It is 10 to 20 minutes to Lexington, Concord, Lincoln and Weston, 20 to 25 minutes to Wellesley, and 35 to 50 minutes to Back Bay depending on Route 2 and Route 128. The main runway is about 7,000 ft, so every category on this page fits. Several FBOs and no airline traffic. It is the general aviation airport for greater Boston and stays calm when Logan does not.
BOS · Boston Logan International
Logan is in East Boston, on the harbor, 10 to 15 minutes to downtown, the Seaport and Back Bay through the Ted Williams Tunnel. One FBO, long runways, airline traffic all day. It wins for city hotels, larger aircraft and bigger groups, and when you connect to an international flight. Expect higher fees and the occasional ground delay.

Naples season runs from about Thanksgiving through Easter, and Boston has two weeks inside it that matter more than the rest. The February school vacation week, the week of Presidents Day, and the April vacation week, the week of Patriots Day, are when New England families want to be in Naples. Add Christmas through New Year and the March spring breaks, and those are the dates Florida based aircraft are booked early. On those dates the aircraft on this leg is often positioned in from another city, which is why a one way estimate runs wider than a round trip. Summer is easier on availability both ways.
